Hi,

I have patch of Ice on my lawn. This could be because the meadow is retaining water surrounded by those patches and the marine is frozen to Ice. Is it good for the meadow, or should i try to melt the rime.

In the spring will the lawn will hold to be relaid on those patches.

thanx

Answers:    Your prairie should be fine in the spring, providing you enjoy a cool season lawn. No necessitate to do any melting. The rime patches are not the most important problem here, it is the fact that you hold "patches" of water (ice) solitary, that has me concerned. Have you be getting a large amount of precipitation and these patches are surrounded by low areas of your lawn and not draining very well (soil compaction)? If so, you need to do a core aeration on your turf surrounded by the spring and again in the crash down. This will help alleviate some of the problem. If you hold a heavy clay soil, you can start applying "gypsum" for the subsequent couple of years and this will help to breakdown the clay particle allowing for better drainage. Hope this answers your question...

it sounds close to this might be the first year this ever happened & if it is you hold bigger problems then freshly an icey lawn you probably enjoy a water vein break between the the city water shut bad and your water meter if this have never happened any other year unles you a short time ago moved in at hand and wasnt warned you bought a swamp virtuous luck
