Bonjour. (: So last weekend at the farmers souk, I bought 14 little plants to do some container gardening with since I live contained by a town house, so here's my question, I only bought 5 13.5 quart pots for them, so which ones can I plant together out of these?
Better boy tomato- Full sn
raider cucumber- Full sun
Early red pepper- Full sun
Sugar snap peas - full sun - grow 8" towering
Red Knight sweet pepper - Full sun
Jet start tomato - Full sun
Little finger egg plant- Full sun
Yellow Zucchini, not sure if it needs full sun or not, didn't read aloud on the card
Summer squash Full sun
--
Herbs:
Greek Oregano - FUll sun
Winter thyme - Full sun
Catnip - Sun or part shade

Also, can I use potting soil not suggest for containers in containers? I spent roughly 70 some dollars on all of it. haha.
You can plant any one of those together.. THey wont harm respectively other, but maybe you could look up "Companion Planting" on the net. It might suggest what will go near what to benefit each other. Potting mix is for pots!! Therefore if you bought potting mix you can use it surrounded by pots. DONT use garden soil from your backyard in pots however as the plants will struggle for sure.
Goodluck

Hi! You may have to grasp more containers! The catnip goes near the eggplant...and you could put that with one of the pepper. The peas can go beside the cucumber. The thyme and oregano can go next to the tomatos. the squash and zuke can go together and both want full sun. The other tomato can go next to the other pepper. I think that covers adjectives of them.

Yes, you can use the potting soil you have. check out gardenguides.com and look at companion planting for more design!

Happy gardening!
Answers:    --Planted beside anything, catnip will deter cats from venturing further. Protects against flea beetle, and attracts bees. For this plan, it will go resourcefully with the eggplant.

--Lettuce can be planted beside peas because they keep respectively other's pests off. Since they will both finish rash in the season, you can put your pepper in near it.

--Oregano should be planted near cucumbers to repel cucumber beetle.

--Plant the zucchini and squash singularly. They will have need of all the space they can grasp.

--Is it possible to get some more pots? If so, put a tomato contained by each. If not, plant the zucchini and squash together and put the tomatoes within the other.

The potting soil you have will work clearly!

Good luck!
