My Orchid deflowered and now there are two shoots growing from the bottom of the plant above dirt line. They look like shiny "bean" shoots. They are in the region of 3 inches long and are very waxy looking.
Are these roots or new flower stems?
Thanks contained by advance.
Answers: They are new shoots which will flower on 2 years time.. I own been defrocked but never deflowered,
Depends on what type of orchid you have. They nouns like new plant shoots, that will produce leaves. If they bring back the correct watering and fertilizer, among other conditions, they may flower.
I have never heard of an orchid man deflowered! LOL
But I got the picture. LOL Thanks for a good morning chuckle.
