My garden has grown nothing but weed for 7 years. I have just contracted to rotavate it and prepare for the laying of turf.
One problem, I have found no top soil worms is this why nothing grows and what can I do??
I worked the soil to a depth of 6 inches and my garden is quite life-size I was very surprised to see that in attendance were no worms. Why could this be??
grow lupins the blue ones during winter, and just as they flower cut them down, they incorporate nitrogen to the soil and the worms will then start to arrive i think that u enjoy not put water from last few weeks so put some sea and that will be fine or u have to make your garden once again
My yard is resembling that no earth worms where the soil is desperate, the soil that has top soil or soil I have amended is loaded beside them so I would say the soil needs sustain. In my flower beds where my flowers are not growing only just at all there are no worms, I really in recent times started noticing this, and did a lot of looking so I am sure that is to say what is wrong with mine. Your soil probably needs compost tally. You will always find plenty of worms where life stuff is rotting away (compost heaps for instance). Worms are like anything else, they cannot live without food and dampen and air - compost is their food supply.
They are there. Don't worry
The untimely bird has pigged out on the worms Your rotavator has mash them up.
Answers: worms go where on earth there's food and moisture in the soil. work in compost and save the area moist for a bit. they'll show up.. put out coffee grounds, too.the turf will help phone up them in, too.
