We live in NORTHERN Alberta, Edmonton to be exact and our bright subdivision requires that a tree is planted in respectively yard. The brainiacs hold decided to verbs the hole and plant the tree TODAY. We have already experienced a few frost's and the average temp. hovers around 5-10 Celusius. My interview is, how do we keep this tree alive, and what should I do contained by the next few days to ensure it's survival? Im not sure of the type, it's healthy-looking brown, has no leaves and is just about 6-7 feet elevated.

You can still hold a healty tree in your zone even if you hold had your first frost. The ground warmth is hasn't frozen yet so you should be sheltered this in getting the roots established.
Did they use any type of fertilizer or natural mushroom when they planted. The organic mushroom compost is a great natural fertilizer and it will last up to a year. It is mixed into the soil at planting time.
Make sure you hose down you tree on a regular basis to establish the root system. I recommend for the first week or two to purloin a hose and turn it on slowly and place the hose at the base of the tree. Let it drip for a partly an hour to forty five minutes if possible, rotating the hose every ten minutes or so. This process ensure the entire base of the tree as in good health as the root system getting full moisture. If your temperature turns colder and this is unachievable, just engineer sure the tree gets plenty mositure over the next two weeks.

Firstly the tree should be of hardy stock which have been chosen for the stiffness.
Secondly the frost only harms plants when the leaves acquire frosted and then they obtain direct sun on them, thus causing a scorching of the buds.
I would conjure they will have put a tree guard or shelter, around the tree (plastic tube) to protect against devastate from animals. You will need to save an eye on the guard to ensure the tree is not damaged as it grows.
The Guard provides a micro climate to protect from cold weather.
