I have approx. 50 year prehistoric yew bushes that had to be cut down at our arable farm for a new septic :( I really love them. . . Has anybody ever have them sprout up again from the roots/stump left over, or know anything almost it?

P.S. Green Grove, which is our home/farm and business name stems from these yews, and some cedars/spruces. . .(because it is still other "green" in the wintertime :) Kind of sentimental, and my grandmother is crying right presently :(
Answers:    I am sorry for your loss.Yew trees grow up to 150 years. The genus Taxus covers a number of Coniferous variety. They will probably grow again,or you could take cuttings(if you can) and put them within a pot, after cutting past its sell-by date bottom of cutting and poking it surrounded by a rooting compound.Unfortunately Yews are very slow growers,so you'll entail tobe patient.
make available it time.they may sprout again especially if they havent been poisoned.i hope you realise how poisonous these plants are and hope the individuals who cut them down wore appropriate protection
