I am new to tomato gardening, so suffer with me. On a couple of the plants, a few of the leaves enjoy white marks that are squiggly and give or take a few 1/2 inch long. The plants seem tough and are beginning to take on fruit. Is this normal? Does it indicate some defect in the soil, or indicate that I stipulation to fertilize or something? They look really good otherwise.

If they are a moment ago white spots, it may be a type of fungus. We used to keep adjectives kinds of vegetables (I'm a country girl), and sometimes the tomatoes and pumpkins would bring a similar growth...Here's what you do:
Get a pitcher and fill it next to a bit of dish soap and water.
Go up to your plants and rub it on the parts where on earth there are white spots. Just walk ahead and use your hands, but be docile, scrubbing the stuff bad.
Then get out your hose and bestow it a good rinse. This should sidestep the fungus, but we had to do this at most minuscule three times throughout the summer.
Oh, and make sure that you do this any in the morning or at darkness. Obey the gardening law: don't put marine on anything between the hours of 11am and 4 pm.
Answers: Squiggly results in the leaves can be palm leaf miners, you can kill them by simple smooshing the leaves near the squiggles or remove the effected leaves.
