What is the best way to revive it? The part beside less shade is doing ok. But the area beside 80% shade is dying/dead! Is there any way at adjectives to make this reappear? Im going to cut as many limb down to allow for more sunlight. Any tricks? Thanks!
Answers: The tendency is to water, hose down and water. However, every other day to start is fine, afterwards you can water twice a week on St Augustine. If it is a shady spot, St Augustine will have a thorny time growing. What you may consider doing under the shadier locations is to throw down some shade tolerant seed. Here is some supportive info on shade grass: http://www.shadegrass.com/

Good Luck, ;-)
First of all where do you live? Climate prudent! St Augustine grass is good for hot climate area not cold region places, it requests to have plenty of sunlight. Different grasses have diff. nouns regions where they grow best in. Watering does not aid, it needs more sunlight.
