The clumps (which look like green loose bowl movement to bequeath you a visual) has dischaged on mixed areas of my lawn. I will accept, I did wait a bit longer than usual to mow this season. As they are drying out, it look unhygienic. I would like to know, will the clumps exterminate my healthy prairie? If so, what can I do to remove them? Thanks in credit.
Answers: If the clumps are big enough to block sunlight they will indeed snuff out the grass under them. You might know how to run back over them once they dry for a moment. Sounds like you might enjoy cut the grass when it was clammy which will cause the clumping. If the mower won't pick them up or spread them out, later you'll have to resort to the square method of getting them up or spread out with a rake.
You'll stipulation to rake the dead grass/clumps or it will slay the grass trying to grow beneath it.
