i need help beside my lawn mower it starts but will stop running seconds subsequently whats the problem
A mower requires three things to run.Air-fuel and spark. If the air filter is clean and the spark plug is alien the fuel has to be the problem.Drain it and add unusual gas.If it still will not run back the air fuel screw out one complete turn. The screw is located on the side of the carb. I once have a mower that just would NOT run with foam filter surrounded by the carbeurator. I took that thing out and it ran for three more years. I basically had to clean out the little pipe that sucks nouns in from time to time (with a Q-Tip). Also, make sure the fuel splash isn't blocked. You might have water contained by your gas tank (rain, condensation). Make sure you have GAS surrounded by there. I learned this stuff by trial and error. :)

It sounds like the fuel supply cannot keep up next to the demand, so I'm guessing something like a fuel filter or dirty carburetor.

You might go and get it to run if you put a little fuel treatment in next to a full tank of gas. Keep in mind that stuff is intended to treat going on for 10 gallons to a whole tank of gasoline, so single put about 1/10 of a bottle in a 1 gallon cistern. Then keep trying to start it, and maybe when the solvent get into the carb it will dissolve some varnish and you'll be on your way. It might take a year to work, so if it doesn't start and run today, try it again tomorrow.
Answers:    Try starting and running with the gas cap slightly loose. Sometimes within is no way for the air to replace the gas and an nouns lock is formed.
Otherwise, clean your air filter and allow to dry thoroughly previously reusing.
