It literally looks like they tempo it so bad that it "shed tears". Will my tree survive? It's around a 4 foot section of it, towards the middle of trunk. Any point that I can do to help protect the exposed unit? I love that tree, and believe me, my kids were punished. Thanks.
Wrap the exposed nouns with electrical cartridge. It stretches easy and may release your tree. If it dies, just hand down a stub and it will probably come back as a bush. ..Kids... I remember adjectives too well. Pesky little critters..lol
If the entire circumference of the yap around the trunk was removed, the tree may capably die. The center of the trunk is not as important as the outer ~1-2 inches, specifically where the hose is carried up from roots to the top. The centermost mass of the trunk (Xylem) is actually departed when the tree is mature. It serves to support the tree however the tree wishes those outer living cells to fetch its water up and to verbs to grow.
It shed tears because those water-carrying vessels surrounded by that outer ring were broken.
Answers: The tree will alleviate over. How wide be the strip? Probably hurt the tree more on how wide from vanished to right it is. If it's only 10 percent of the tree it will live.
Did MY kids come to your house and damage your tree? A few years ago my kids and nephews approved to do the same to one of our trees, by hitting it near a baseball bat and climbing the tree. They took off yelp also and the tree is still living. We didn't do nothing to the tree.
Good luck.
Oh wow seize me the klenex box. Blotting up my tears.
Did you say a 4' clause is gone. This is not going to be easy to treat.
It is tricky at best to treat and weather it will survive. Call your county extension service they own trained master gareners who can give you the best guidance for your tree or they will find someone who can. Good luck.
