There is some mold on a few, but can I use them to grow so plants of my own. And obviously; how?
Answers:    If you enjoy access to the vine, getting a start from it would be your best bet.If not, try simply dropping some dryer berries into some GOOD potting mix.No promises, but that's how Nature does it.
No you can't, they have to come from root stock. You can gain new growth past its sell-by date of old plants and start plants that instrument. There called suckers.
