I have a fig tree that I bought from lowes surrounded by my room.. and all its leaves are drying up and falling rotten! I've been watering it semi regularly... approaching 2 to 4 cups of water a daylight every other day. Is that not plenty? help me rescue it!
Answers:    the two main things more or less fig trees are they do not like to be moved(they will shed in that leaves however they will start growing back quickly)find a great place near light and confer on it there. Next they do resembling to be dry inbetween waterings so only marine it if the dirt is dry then soak it next let it completely dry out. next to this being said you should be capable of grow this plant.
Is the air conditioning vent right above it? And you're discussion about a weeping fig ( a houseplant/tree), right? Not an actual fig tree? Fig trees inevitability to go outside for reading light and root formation, I think. Weeping fig, I don't know how big a plant/tree you enjoy and how big the pot is. Does it have drainage at the bottom? If not, or if your plant is small, next you may be overwatering. The Weeping fig shouldn't be in direct feathery, just indirect. I made the mistake of thinking the 6 ft high-ceilinged weeping fig my grandmother raised would love a daylight out in the sun for once. That be my fatal mistake. Check out your sunlight, 2 to 4 cups of dampen every other day, would be too much even for a 6 ft soaring plant. Too much water can drown the plant and it could LOOK much equal as when it doesn't get satisfactory water. Check your drainage again, check the vent, only indirect neutral, and only dampen when she's dry. I hope this helps. To be not detrimental, check a few Gardening reference books at the book store ( you don't involve to buy them, just look up your plant, etc. Good Luck
