My dwarf crepe myrtles own not bloomed this summer and no insects can be found. Any suggestions? They were planted 3 years ago and have other had beautiful blooms....

They were planted 3 years ago and have other had beautiful blooms. Nothing have changed in their environment.
Answers:    Around here, none have bloomed on the other hand. Perhaps they are delayed where you live due to weather conditions, even something that happened during the winter (dryer than usual? wetter than usual?) If you did not prune them and they are getting one and the same amount of sun then they have no excuse not to bloom. Just be long-suffering a couple more weeks.
