hello gardeners.
i have moved to a unusual house, completely revamped the gardens so that they i have exceedingly minimal upkeep but left the untested apple tree that was partially fallen over later summer.
i straightened it up as last year when i moved within, it had more or less 60 or so apples on it and this year, it has bloomed.
near must be over three or four hundred apples starting to grow.
Obviously they are tiny at the moment but that is what lead me to my question.
closing year, half of them have bugs nibbling away at them and this year, i would similar to to use the apples. does anyone have any expertise of how to look after them?
i think they can be sprayed near something but don't know what or when i should do this. c'mon you gardeners out there, lend a hand me out, it would be a shame to let them adjectives die again.
thanks for your time.
Answers:    We've never have a problem with bugs. One or two perchance. I wouldn't use any chemicals - that would be silly and very doomed to failure for you.
Well there is single one thing worse than ingestion a apple with a worm contained by it. Thats eating an apple beside half a worm you know you are the husband.

Q: For many years, we enjoy had an excess of apples with worms contained by them. This makes the apples inedible. What should we be doing to get hold of rid of the worms? (Mooreton, N.D.)

A: Spray using an insecticide, such as((( Sevin,)))
((sold at any garden center)) Also less raucous that many chemicals.
at blossom drop and again contained by 10 to14 days. Spraying two more times after that should do the trick. You can try pheromone traps, if you can locate them. Put two or three traps in the larger trees. Picking up the apples that drop to the ground surrounded by the fall go a long way surrounded by breaking the infestation cycle.
