My 3' cactus is turning black from the top down! I don't expect I'm overwatering.? I've only have it for a year. I water once a month...
I've only have it for a year. I water once a month or so. Sometimes even smaller amount. What could cause this & is it hopeless? Any solutions? I love 'Clyde the Cactus.' :(
nouns like too much river. cut off the limp rot and let it dry out. bring in sure you use cactus soil and only sea it a tablespoon or 2 a week. It might come out of it. good luck

You should probably wet him a bit more, but I think it's a moment ago too cold for him at night....
Perhaps you could bring him inside :)
