So I acquired just about ten little tomato plants in yogurt cups today. My soil is sandy but the spot is sunny & I shall plant them this evening when it is cooler out.
Please do you enjoy advice on how to plant the little things lacking murdering them. I live in No. Fla., hot & humid,(oh, that sounds a bit pornoey:)) surrounded by case climate matter.
Thank you for your help

Answers:    When watering the plants, dampen at the base of the stalk; do not sprinkle the leaves as this will result contained by 'sun burning' of the leaves and lead to a blighty plant. It would be of great benefit to enjoy a 'tomato cage' for each plant. As the plants grow, the plants stems will be supported and hang on to the tomato from laying on the ground. Wire cage can be gotten at any garden center, but one can fashion some beside simple lath sticks and twine. Mulch the base of the plants beside wood chips or straw to keep the soil moist.
Dig small hole gaping enough to cover roots, place a tomatoe plant within the hole, add a cup or two of river from a larger bucket that has marine mixed with Miracle Grow within it,cover roots with a rich potting soil, considerately pack soil around plant! After all plants are contained by the ground, make sure as they grow that ample hose down is applied as needed! You may have to hose down more often because of the sandy soil! Water plants tardy in the evening!
