I live outside of NYC in zone 6b. In my nouns...everyones lilacs bloom a few weeks before mine does. What group blooms later?

Answers:    I find most of the investigational cultivated varieties bloom latter than many of the "wild" bushes that are around. My 'President Greavy' and 'Sensation' bloom almost a month latter than the wild bushes we enjoy. Without knowing the colour and habit of your tree it would be knotty to say - I know plentiful of the miniature lilacs such as 'Miss Kim' seem to bloom into summer around here (Zone 5a).

It could also enjoy to do with how much sun your tree get in relation to the others that you see blooming sooner.

If you're curious to see the collection of your tree, take some of the flowers to a local garden center or garden club.

as far as I know here are 4 types but unfortunately I do not know the name of each, I know the colors, neutral purple, dark purple, white and a gaping pink. If planted correctly each will bloom contained by sequence.
