can you tell me what the going rate is for mowing someones prairie here in the uk?

presume you are to be using your own good characteristic equipment , and not in the home counties .
ride on mower ;lb15 -lb25 per hour
pedestrian mower ; lb10-lb15 p.h.(same for strimmer or blower)
You may want to consider factoring in travelling time - you could spend partly your day in traffic , if doing small job .
Perhaps public liability insurance at about lb100 per year .
Also keep some believable work records/accounts .
And remember ,it's usually too raining to mow about 5 days a fortnight !
