Lawn Grass kernel? I am looking to take up my ripened Lawn as it has...

I am looking to take up my ripened Lawn as it has have it. it was laid by so call proffesionals and just hasn't last the course. Part of my new sward will be put over to a play area for my grandson you know the sort of entity Slide swings etc.

Does anyone know of a good nut that I could use for this purpose and when the best time of year would be to sow it.
Use a good feature grass seed that have Rye grass in it, as it will be tougher than plain prairie seed, and will stand up to playing.

I contemplate that you should sow, around end of March-April, next the ground will have warm up, and the seed will germinate.
Don't forget to dampen well every dark.
A play area will other ruin your lawn, you may be wasting your time redo it.Plan your garden so you can enjoy your grandchildren playing and still look at a nice grass.
Is your garden in the shade(Large trees etc. ) as this will stop your meadow developing.
I suggest if you are going to go ahead beside renewing it then linger until April and treat the existing and remaining grass with weed and nurture -gets rid of any moss and weeds , consequently sow a hard wearing level of grass seed( you can get this at any garden centre),roughly speaking 10 days later but you will enjoy to stop anyone using the area.will give somebody a lift about 2 weeks to show and will have need of to be a whole season to establish.
Is it possible to hold the play area separate and put down a rubber mat ground cover and rope off the pasture to protect it.
Answers:    When a lawn is going to be subject to thickset use, such as a play area,a suitable hard-wearing grass seed mix is essential.Look for a mix including Cynosurus cristatus,Crested Dogtail.
this will be smaller number close growing than many finer mixes, requiring smaller number mowing.
The optimum times for seed sowing surrounded by the UK are March and April in the South,April and May within the Midlands and North.Be aware that grass does not grow well within shady conditions, requiring
constant attention.
You will need a rock-hard wearing seed blend such as British Seed House 24 blend. Lots of the courser rye grasses and plenty of bents. Any reliable seed man will be able to supply this.
Sow mid March-late May when soil have dried out a bit and feels thaw out to touch.
