Landscaping within front of a brick building concept? I have a building made of red brick that isn't that pretty...
I have a building made of red brick that isn't that pretty to look at. There is more or less 15' of grass around my building. I'm thinking about planting some short trees, or lay some mulch, conceivably a small gazebo, anything really, what do you think would look nice? Every Idea Helps!
Answers: what you are thinking sounds suitable. my husband and i are contractors and do landscaping. next to a brick i would try to do round or oval beds-no rectangles or squares. the circles will take the frame off of the brick look (soften it) vines climb great on brick and it looks right, too.

There are many different possible defined shaped bed you could do around your brick building. I have designed bed around many outside buildings for my clients. The first step is to prefer if you want a defined bed or just some trees planting around. I approaching the idea of a snake shape defined bed around the entire building, if possible. You can put together it any width you want. There are so frequent different plant specimens that will work well around your building and it will depend on what climate you live contained by as to what plants you use.
I love incorporating different size small trees as well as solid and variegated evergreen shrubs. This will make the addition of year around color as well as different variety. The Cypress, Arborvitae, Juniper, Loropetalum families make a payment so much to an area approaching yours. Add some features such as a small bench, bird bath and feeder. You can even put surrounded by some decorative lights along next to mulch to finish the project.
