Key West FL: What is the dub of the flowering tree beside the? reddish orage flowers?
reddish orage flowers?
could be birds of paradise(not the one that has the banana like leaves, the one specifically a tree.
also maybe an orleander.
bougainvilleas are a possible choice as well
Hi:
I agree the one that comes to mind is the Bougainvillea.
Here are a few other possibilities.
Red Powderpuff
Firebush, which is also known as the Hummingbird bush
Lipstick Hibiscus
Cape Honeysuckle
I will link you to the tropics passage of my website. There is a page on the Bougainvillea species and the Powderpuff is also on that page. I hope this helps identify your tree. Good luck to you and have a great hours of daylight!

Could be Crepe Myrtles? Need to be a bit mored specific to know for sure..
Are you thinking of the Kapac Tree? It is pink and only found in Florida (2) and one other place. Might be a crepe myrtle tree. They own no bark on the tree almost as if it was sand down.
Answers: Oh my goodness, there's closely of those...Maybe you're referring to Bougainvillea.. idk..:)
