I've a echivera plant in my kitchen. Is it ok to put it contained by the garden? The plant has grown really long with leaves on the top and a few more small leaves coming out close to the roots. I've had it for later two years.
Answers: Most echeveria are not hardy north of zone 9, and some not even that far. For most of the U.S. they must be considered either an annual or a house plant. You can other put your plant outside in the summer but if you want to hold it plan on bringing it back within before frost.
