Just was wish to make a small hydroponic growing component for one plant in my small apartment. I don't hold too much room and am not wanting to spend a ton of money on a real, professionally built section.
Thanks.
Answers: The simplest one I've built was next to two 5gal buckets a small fountain pump ($8 on eBay) and an aquarium air pump ($1 at courtyard sale) in an ebb and flow system. When placed within a sunny window beside 4 supplemental 13W "Lights of America" sunlite compact fluorescents ($12), I was competent to get cherry tomatoes to fruit. RScott
You could net one out of thick, strong cardboard, paint the insides flatwhite, reinforce next to ducktape, cut a hole in the bottom and top for drying, maybe a small computer adherent as well.Depends what type of lighting you are using,if you want to grow contained by soil,or hydro. The main point would be to make sure what ever be supporting your lights was strong adequate. If i were you newly use potting mix in a 3 gallon container.More info would be apposite.
