Is Landscaping work insecure to your form guys? I read the job description in the region of 3 days...
I read the job description in the region of 3 days ago and... I've been thinking a LOT.
On the description, it stated that you would be required to spray + mix herbicides, fertilizers and insecticides.
Either by appendage or mechanical sprayers/spreaders.
Ummm... ^ aren't these things hugely bad to your form?
Would working in this genus of job for partially a year to say; give or take a few a whole year effect your form in any unenthusiastic ways?
If so ^ , what would be the short and long term effects?
Thanks.
I never thought about it past, but it seems to me an life landscaping business would net big bucks. . . .hmmmmm :)
I love landscaping and gardening, but I would not work for a landscaper (or even a greenhouse or plant nursery) because of the chemicals involved.
Many pesticides and insecticides are carcinogenic, aim they have the potential to impose cancer. Some studies even show that parents' exposure to pesticides can cause solid types of cancer in their children.
Simply scrabble for "pesticides and cancer" or "insecticides and cancer" if you're curious.
Answers: In demand to work with these chemicals, you involve to be licensed to handle them. Every state have strict ordinances and law and licensure to make sure within are no accidents. You can't lately dump any extra pesticide you over mixed into the ground. These are Hazardous Materials and have to be handle as such.
In order to be licensed as a veterinary technician, I have to take the pesticide theory test, because in handling colossal animals, there are pesticides used for their aid. The same is true for the green industry. Pesticides are dangerous and environmentally toxic if handled properly.
If this company is not requiring you to acquire licensed to handle these chemicals, they are operating without permission.
