I have nearly a 10000 foot lot minus house two story 3000sq feet, garage more or less 400-500 sq ft. minus drive way more or less 3-4 of my garages.
Anyway, I want the landscaper to cut all of my rose bushes going on for 35-40 (HAND TRIMMNG), trim all of my hedge which are the whole boundary of yard. Weed everything.
remove adjectives leaves, debris
trim my giant 8ft. x 7 ft. tropical plant,
mow grass
circumference
weedeat
replant one plant
trim two birds of paradise
and trash removal
He quoted me $1200.00 and said it would rob 2 days!!
Is that too much in los angeles (hollywood).
Thanks a great deal!
Answers: You have closely of work to be done. The landscaper must also be educated within trimming and pruning rose bushes and various other trees and shrubs you mentioned. Just trimming 35-40 rose bushes is plentifully of work, not to mention bird of paradise, presently there is a huge stomach-ache to trim. My landscaper is a certified arborist and I know he will not damage anything contained by my garden and he charges $65 an hour and is very briskly because he knows what he is doing. He is dependable and conscientious. $1200.00 once a year to preserve my garden under control it's worth it. So it's up to you. Did you check reference and so on. If not get reference and make sure he is certified and you know your courtyard will look good subsequent year not as though it was scalped and not here unbalanced or worse plants died from to much pruning.
yr landscapper is out to lunch..and requests dinner and breakfast at the same time. going rate should be max$700.00
