Is here a consumer product that really works for eliminate ants from my patio? I have tried Ortho, Bayer, numerous bait traps, and other stuff....

I have tried Ortho, Bayer, numerous bait traps, and other stuff. The end one I tried was a stake "guaranteed to work" where on earth the ants get the poisoned bait and it be supposed to kill the entire colony. Instead, the subsequent day I saw 4 trial colonies all circling the stake.

Answers:    I have them a few weeks ago and tried lots of things but the boiling water and bleach seem to work the best ...but talcum powder is supposed to be good too which i also squirted down the paving slabs
