i found the biggest most beautiful butterfly i hold ever seen, contained by the grass today and he cant fly. i looked closer and he seems to hold a half front leg missing, and possibly hes hurt, or fatigued, or stressed. what can i do to save him? he doesnt seem to be to even try anymore. i put him in a greatly large bucket next to bark, branches, and leaves.. what else can i do?
Answers: Butterflies are fragile and well injured. Your best bet is to research and find out what kind of butterfly you found, and put the appropriate food surrounded by the butterfly habitat you made. You may b able to hang on to it alive for a little while, but if it is hurt it is not plausible to last long.
You hold done all you can -- you are a honourable person for person kind to creatures great and small.
