If my neighors walnut tree have more branches onmy side growing over the wires to my house.whatdo i do? who is responsible for cutting the big branches that or over my power...

who is responsible for cutting the big branches that or over
my power lines to my house.they or breaking and falling
down on the lines.thank you
I had a branch from a tree laying directy on my power file, called the company and they came and took effort of it, no questions asked. You can trim or remove any branches that are on your side of the property line.
It is the owners responsibilty to trim the tree. If you do it and annihilate the tree you could be responsible. I would ask him to do it in a letter, and if he refuse, you should send him another letter that states you will cut your side because of the reason you stated. I would get a pro to do it, because of the power lines. If you only concern is the power lines, telephone the power company. Go next door and talk to them going on for it and see what they think. Around here where I live we would hold to contact the power company and ask them to come and look and see if they can trim any of the branches due to it being on their power lines. There should not be a fee for that. After they trim if you still are not in good spirits with the results just ask subsequent door if they mind you trimming the tree on your side.
Answers:    the parts of the tree on your side of the property line are yours to cut. you can ask him to trim them.

you can also ring up the power company and ask if they trim around lines at no cost when on private property.

it's ultimatly a civil matter. just parley nicely to your neighbor. he might not notice it mortal a hazzard.

call the non emergency # for your local police for the laws in the order of trimming trees over a property line. or stop in contained by person to talk to an officer
If I were you, I would verbalize to the electric company about your situation and ask their advice. However, previously removing any of the branches, I would talk to my neighbor. call ur electric company and permit them know the branches are there, its dangerous. I devise if the branches are on ur property then its ur responsibility to cut them, but I'm not sure if the laws are diff. surrounded by diff. places.
I think the company that owns the wires. Try calling them and see if they'll come cut them down. Also you can call the city (code enforcement, maybe) to find out whether he or you are responsible for adjectives them. You also might ask him to split the cost. Good luck. Don't wait until the lines come down. If the tree is on his side then it is his responsibility to hold on to it trimmed. However, if the branches are destroying your lines then I believe you are allowed to cut away whatever is dangerous your property. Or go tell the guy to verbs it up a little, since it's his property.
a moment ago hire someone to chop it down. thats what my parents did. acutaully they talked to my neighbors and then my neighbors hired the being Call your utility company...it's their duty to take care of those problems so not a soul is injured or killed.stay out of the lines and trees yourself until resolved. This one is not something to mess with..worthy luck!
