Identify and Suggest Correct Type Of Low Height Bamboo? I plan to plant a hedge type of spreading (I think)...

I plan to plant a hedge type of spreading (I think) trim bamboo contained by half of a wood firkin.

We will be planting this Bamboo in direct sun contained by LA, on a city street. Can hit over 100 easy surrounded by the summer.

I'm hoping to identify the kind of wicker we want to plant. It grows to about 3 foot, or is cut that way, is extremely thin, and have only the stalks, near what I guess is fruiting body at a stalk end, but no leaves to speak of. Very green.

Please relieve to tell me what type to look for, and if you know where on earth to find it around Glendale, CA, that would be great! (that will have no position on the "best" answer.
