So I'm a newbie plant person and I get this plant that is slowly dying but I kinda figure this would happen so I'm not adjectives that sad, but I in a minute have this pretty big pot I bought for it and I want to produce use of it. I was thinking of putting several different but smaller plants into the one big pot. To breed matters even more difficult, I live contained by an apartment with no veranda and I don't really get much direct frothy...plenty of indirect light because I hold a whole wall of window. SO...1) is this a good notion to start with 2) any suggestions on plants to try.
I approaching the idea of an herb garden but I'm afraid it wouldn't be that successful because I couldn't attain the direct sun those plants require. Any suggestions would be great...thanks so much!
Answers: Okay...
if you are going to want to start a herb garden, you are going to stipulation sunlight, but if you dont get any, try buying a sun oil lamp. It will be just resembling the sun, give rotten a good amount of street light, so that your plants can survive.
As for putting them all surrounded by one pot, be careful, you dont want the roots to intertwine because if they do, they could possibly snuff out each other from deficiency of space.
The roots need a dutiful amount of space to grow, so that they can get the right amount of marine and nutrients for the plant to survive.
Plants to try: if you are going to try a herb garden, try just planting the key herbs such as opregano, parsley, sage, etc.
