I entail backing identify a plant within my patio. I surmise it may be a sizeable vine or a small shrub. It is poorly lit green

and has thornes which are 2-3 inches long. The leaves appear to be only on the unmarked growth and are about the size of a silver dollar. They have a clover shape near three trefoils but also have small wings along the fern stem. The plant is about six feet towering, but has been growing unworried for about 12 years. It is in a chunk of the yard that I had agree to go wild and which I am presently clearing. When my mother was living, she cared for that nouns and I don't know if the plant is something she set out or if it is one that came up on its own. I have never see anything like it though, and I am very au fait with the plants in this nouns. I live in the Gulf Coast area of the USA. I don't want to do anything to it until I find out what it is. I hold looked on several plant identification sites and have be unable to find it. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

you are smart to be wanting to identify the plants before you rip them out, near are a lot of gardeners that put their life into their yard only to have them eradicated.
