you planted them way too deep!! lone need to be planted about partially an inch deep! so replant quick! they should grow prompt!!

Beans grow rapid, so it's not too late to try again. I'm in Ohio, and I've planted beens surrounded by the last few days.

Hard to say why yours didn't come up - but if you planted five weeks ago - that would put us contained by early May, and if you had our weather, it be still pretty cool - and the ground was NOT warm satisfactory for beans. Cool earth, and wet weather, usually process the seeds rot. You also planted too deep - but if the soil have been warm, and they have germinated, they would have be able to make their bearing up to the surface.
