We moved house in October, and I enjoy been digging over the veg plot primed to set up planting come spring. In one marked past its sell-by date area is a strawberry plant (not a uncultivated one as the leaves are quite large). Is at hand anything I should be doing to encourage it to produce fruit latter on?
Answers: In a few years your garden will be completely overgrown with strawberry plants.
You wont carry any strawberrys though the slugs will eat the lot.
trim the unresponsive areas of the plant as this will stimulate new growth come springtime.
put the plant within a strawberry pot as this keeps it stale the ground.
