My husband pulled it out of the ground by an old discarded house and we planted it. It is dark purple and the leaves are shaped almost similar to the wings of a butterfly! Please comfort!
Is it a tree shrub or small perennial, are the leaves purple all year round? transport us a photo if you can please because this would narrow it down immensley.


Not sure roughly having butterfly shaped leaves, but 2 correct purple plants are varieties of Cotinus and Heuchera. See some pics/info below:
