I live in colorado, its be warm here lately. I own her in a outstandingly bright warm bedroom which somehow have stimulated some major growth... Should I cut her fund down, or just prune her rear????
Answers:    Clematis definitely want a dormant period. If you're going to hand down it in a pot, product sure the pot is very all right insulated - such as wrapping it with bubble wrap and sitting on the south side of the house or garage so it get extra warmth,or even burying the pot contained by the ground (and then digging it up subsequent spring).
most of the clematis i own die off contained by winter time , the vine part, but the roots of the plant verbs to live and will throw out new vines surrounded by the spring. i wouldn't prune it and just permit nature purloin its coarse. if it starts to look like its comatose it probably still alive so let it be and it will come posterior in spring.
