I of late get a plant beside red pallid and green leaves.? They are kind of shaped like dumbcane, but are a bit thicker....
They are kind of shaped like dumbcane, but are a bit thicker. Can anyone bring up to date me what kind of plant this is, I need to form sure it is not poisionous to my cats. A picture would be great if you can find one. Thank you 10 points to best answer.
cats don't eat too much poison and they swot quickly. They do sometimes (or seem to) obviously make themselves sick when they have clogged up their passage with loose fur. I wouldn't worry too much unless it comes from wide jungle territory. keep it away from the cats for in a minute,
CROTON is a possibility

has a good pic of a croton and several other tropical plants
Here's a link that might support you find it and if you provided US with a picture of your plant then it'd be easier for us to help out you try and find out what name it is. How can we figure out the designation of it without knowing what it looks like? Hope you find out. It's amusing that you want US to post photos of plants we might imagine your vaguely described plant might be.

it doesn't look poisonous
Sounds like an Elephant ear plant. Looks a bit resembling ivy but the leaves can have tints of yellow and red on them. Do a google picture search for it. A lot show up green, but they can have red and washed out as well. Trust me..
If it is this plant, your cat is fine :)
if it is this one
