this plant spreads it stays flat and its a mixture of green and purple and the leaves shapes like crumbled lettuce and its silky looking and sense. and the plants crawls and it doesnt climb. once in a while you get hold of this stems of little tiny purple blooms which are seeds. how can i find out what it is? if you are predisposed give me your email i will email it to you

It is called ajuga and it comes within lots of varieties. I own the kind you describe and it is a great, hardy ground cover that spreads justifiably quickly. It also comes surrounded by a light variegated series with street light green and white leaves. Also very pretty.
