I am reposting an old cross-examine, and here it is: Hi-- My mom's large backyard pond have become inundated with frogs-- it wouldn't be fruitless except the season is longer this year and there are lots more croakers! She does not want to kill them, but we want to relocate them to a near natural pond. Help! We added a few tadpoles to drink mosquitoes- and they multiplied beyond belief. ******** it is a large quasi-lake pond. They ate the fish. The herons never get them, kingfishers did not eat them, and the pond place (which sold the tadpoles!) said to never put frogs contained by a pond. Huh? It is incredible noise in a minute! Huge bullfrogs, and the neighbors and my parents are not laughing. They started early this year and it is road worse. One place advised to bring back a couple of bass, but where to buy live bass? Any thinking? And for those who wonder what the problem is with croaking, you hold not heard this height of noise, trust me! There are hundreds! Killing them is not ruled out, but we verbs about plants
Answers: You can purchase Bass from a fish hatchery, look contained by the phone book for stocking lakes or fish hatchery. I really dont know any other track than to go to walmart and buy a frog Gig and enjoy a party.
You're experiencing frog bloom, which happen every few years in some ponds for no adjectives reason. If you can tolerate the nouns (which I'm sure is deafening) and make it through the season, this won't start again for a while. Make sure you don't use chemicals or introduce any other wildlife and the natural predators - which are around - will appropriate care of the situation for you.
