I be wandering how I would plant a pineapple top so that I could hold a pineapple tree? I wanted to plant the top of the pineapple and I not...

I wanted to plant the top of the pineapple and I not sure how to do that. I think that at hand is a special way to plant the pineapple top.
Go for it. I had one I kept for years till a freak freeze get it. Just follow the instructions someone provided. I just cut off in the region of 3 inches from the top, stuck it in dirt and it grew. Makes a nice looking plant but does have sharp spines as it ages. first of adjectives the pineapple isnt a tree is a bromeliade(spelling?)
we grow alot here in the bahamas. check this website out!

note it take a while for a fruit to form, likr 18 months anyway

happy planting

Yes, you can plant a pineapple top so that the coarse surface is in the ground with the plant at the top sticking out.

It will not become a tree, but a plant, and it will cart a few years as bromeliads are slow growing, and it will also not grow if you are in a cold climate.
