I accidently ran over one of my rotor sprinkler head with a bed edger. The part is totally destroyed. I'd like to know if its ok to mix and game different heads. I enjoy Hunter I20's. Can I use something comparable from Rainbird or whatever they enjoy at Lowes or Home Deport?
Answers:    Yes you can, but it is best to get one and the same Hunter head rather. The different brands are pretty much interchangeable with the thread size (make sure it fits the riser) but the spray pattern are somewhat different and the speed of rotation is as well. Another article, the heads are different sizes, some taller, some for a moment shorter. Your current height of the riser nouns has be installed to fit the size of the Hunter head, so if you draw from a Rainbird, Nelson, or say Toro cranium, the riser will have to be changed to a different size (taller or shorter) to accommodate so that the sprinkler cranium will fit just lower than the surface of the turf when not in use. If you do money brands, make sure you obtain the adjustment tool or if applicable, different plastic nozzles for that particular cranium. You will need to adjust the spray cut-out and coverage when you install the different head. Hope this answers your ask.

I20's are the best residential head that money can buy. With the flow stop and check stopcock plus there 5 year warranty for the money they can't be play the drums. I would replace with duplicate to keep your precipitation rates matched. I am a branch coordinator at FISOUTDOOR and would even be able to bring back you a replacement i20 "ups" to you fast.
