I planted a dinky little garden and thought I was doing resourcefully until I realized yesterday at in the order of 4 pm, the sun goes down underneath a tree and leaves my tomato plants in the shade.
Should I verbs another garden spot somewhere else?

IF your little guy is getting full sun from sun up to 4 pm, you'll be fine. While I'd close to to see 12 hours, you are close. Another benefit, if you live in a hot climate, that afternoon shade will be a blessing. If you live within a cool climate.well, that might be a problem.
