There are so copious things to learn when starting your own nursery. Where will you buy your plants, or will you propagate them yourself? Where will you buy nursery supplies such as pots, flats, soil at the best price? How will you find customers for your plants? What plants put up for sale well contained by your area?

Answers:    There are many, lots factors involved within starting a nursery. I would highly suggest working within one first so you can get some notion of what you are getting yourself in to.

Owning and operating a nursery business is a tough job. There are tons of decision you need to judge about up to that time jumping within...

Do you want to be wholesale or retail? Who will you supply? How will you get your product to it's final destination? What genus of greenhouses will you get? What nature of water supply do you enjoy? What kind of irrigation system do you plan to use? What will you queue your paths next to? What kind of nursery cart will you get? What computer system will you use? Where will you go and get your Workman's Comp Insurance from? How many human resources will you have? Will you grant gift certificate? What phone system will you use? What kinds of plants do you want to grow/carry? What is your clientele? What is your location similar to? Will you ship out? Will your customers come to you? What size plants are you carrying or growing? Do you have your license? Do you enjoy your resale number? Do you have your Tax I.D? Who will do your bookkeeping? Who will do payroll? Do you know your pests and pesticides? How will you troubleshoot these issues?
