I have already hear of opinions to bear care of this plant. I would apreciate more input to the support of this plant becuase this plant is starting to wilt big time. I have transplanted into a bigger pot when i get it home and also watered it good.
Answers: They do best when they find 4 or more hours of direct sunlight a day. The dark temp should be 65-70 deg F. Daytime: 75-85 is ideal. The leaves drop rotten in a draft especially within winter. Keep soil barely moist at adjectives times--not wet. Fert next to a 5-10-5 in March and May and not for the rest of the year. All-purpose potting soil is fine.
Crotons entail bright light. It doesn't entail to be in a really sunny skylight, but some direct sun with plenty of bright indirect oil lamp is best. The other important piece is to let them dry out between waterings. Stick your finger into the soil and when the top 2-3 inches are dry, dampen thoroughly. Wilting is often (not always) cause by overwatering.
