I was mowing the lawn and i go over a very small tree stump that i didn't see and the lawn mower made a loud clamour so i shut it off. Then I started it up again but it was vibrate like crazy. So my dad got pissed and very soon the lawn mower's blade is bent. How should we fix it? If we have to lift it somewhere to get it fixed, where, and how much will it cost? Or is it possible to fix it ourselves? Need plentifully of answers.
Trying to straighten the blade will be extremely difficult unless your a machinist they need to be clearly balance. You'll save your mower by putting on a clean blade and tossing the bent one. It will also be cheaper than having it straightened and unless you have some specialized equipment you won't be capable of straighten it. mower blades are cheap, and easily replaced, but what gets me is your dad get pissed, ask him if he's ever made a mistake, and tell him he should mow the lawn from in a minute on, Ha Ha! just hope you didn't bend the crank shaft, take the blade bad and take the spark plug out and pull the engine through a few times while looking at the shaft, if it's material bent it will be visible, if not a cartridge measure can be used as a make shift dial indicator, any variance within measurement from a fixed point to center of crank while slowly turning will indicate a bent shaft, in that shield dont waste money on a new blade
Well, the easiest item is to replace it with a new, sharp blade. They usually come bad with a single lock nut on the bottom. Your lawnmower will be up and running and your Dad will be happy you did it.

THEN bring the old one check it out. If it is a simple bend and the steel has not cracked or chipped, lug a hammer out to a flat concrete surface and beat the bend out. remember to turn the blade over and strike it from the other side very soon and then to get it flat. If you walk off a wobble in the blade the mower will vibrate.

When you are done, steal a file to it for a few minutes and put a new threshold on the blade and,...presto, you have a backup in suitcase you forget about that stump again (grin).

.
blades cannot be repaired. replace for five to fifteen dollars. buy a new one, or put it contained by clamps and manually bend it.

I would focus the integrity of the blade would be greatly lessened if you tried to bend it back. For the cost vs. the safety of your legs, I would buy a clean one ^_~ Just by a new blade. Will cost too much to fix. It may be the case that here was damaged done to drive shaft from motor. Might be a honest idea to get adjectives checked out. good luck.
Answers:    You need to replace the blade. They are not expensive. I got mine at Sears for $15.
