How sun can i supply a aloe vera plant?
Aloe is a desert plant, treat it as though it is in the desert. Just a small amount of dampen, and full sun.
I own my Aloe vera plants outside on my patio during summer time, and they will merrily take full sun, and grow prolifically.
A switch thing for these, and most other plants, is to leisurely acclimatise them to outdoors living, a few hours a day at a time, over a couple of weeks. This help prevent them from getting shocked, due to the sudden change within environment that can overwhelm them.
Go easy on watering, as you do for them to be growing indoors. Indoors plants can still purloin plenty of direct sunlight too, though you may find that your plants can really develop when they're outdoors. If it's just purchased, I'd hand over it an increasing amount of direct sunshine indoors, as it may have be in the shade during transit to your home.
Hope this help. Good luck! Rob
Answers: Aloe vera is quite tolerant of tons conditions. I have several pots full of aloe. One pot is sitting on my deck and is contained by full shade. It is a deep, forest green color, and is a superb plant. Another pot of aloe is sitting in full sun, and is a much lighter green and have a more pinkish tint to it. It's also a beautiful plant.
If it's be in shade for a long time, little by little increase the amount of sunlight on it per day. It'll do fine. You'll own to water it more, though, when you maintain it in the direct sun.
