I have see Wave Petunias in the stores, and am wondering.. How rapid do they spread? And, how much do they spread?
Answers: It depends on how and where you plant them. I planted some contained by hanging baskets 4 plants to a picnic basket and they filled the baskets surrounded by just a few weeks. Better however, they even came hindmost this year. The ones I planted in the ground spread pretty promptly, too, but it seemed to appropriate more of them than I anticipated to fill the bedding space. They, too, come back again this year and I purely bought a few more to fill contained by the open spaces. I'm within zone 9 and they do require more watering than other plants, but I only fertilized them once when I planted them. I found a honourable estimate is to anticipate that they increase 3 fold from the size you plant.
they were the first plant that i have ever planted that did really good. They grow pretty hasty and pretty easily too. i put 3 small plants contained by each surrounding substance sized hanging picnic basket and they filled surrounded by nicely by mid summer. honourable luck.
