i started them from bulbs and im ready to plant them, only just wanted to know how high they get so i can place them surrounded by a good spot.
Looking for pumpkin seed...Best source?
Answers:    Some dahlias stay short, from 8 to 12 inches.

Other dahlias can find really tall, up to 5 foot or more. Most that are available tend to be in the taller group, unless sold as a dwarf or bedding dahlia.

I'd numeral on them getting at least a couple of foot, possibly 3, high.
Is it OK to use grub x on...
It depends. Some draw from only 12" large, while others get 4 foot high. I live within zone 6b and planted the larger bulbs in the untimely spring. Most are almost 4 feet lofty already. If you have the big ones, don't forget to stake them. I lost one today within the wind because I didn't enjoy it staked yet. They clearly like full sun! Enjoy them ... they're striking!
