Is their any other special need i need to know to carry on a bamboo tree?
First of adjectives bamboo is not a tree, it's a type of weed/grass, which is why it grows so fast. once a a partially month 4 a amall plant
I enjoy a bamboo "plant",it is not a tree . Well , after I started watering it every day it started to grow similar to crazy ,something very noticeable even for my teen age daughter ,from in the future to the other you could notice the difference .I keep it within a very large pot because I be told that the roots are very invasive and rapidly wounded pipes and whatever is underground. I bought it to get some privacy from my neighbors . It depends on the type and size. Generally you will solitary need to water a rattan plant a couple times a week. Just be sure to monitor it regularly. It should be fairly easy to enlighten when the plant is dying from lack of water.

If you're talking roughly speaking the type of bamboo that pandas eat, consequently this should help:
Bamboo is a grass and most do well contained by full sunlight, and like any other grass also enjoy a weekly philosophical watering and a few doses of high nitrogen fertilizer a few times per year to keep them lively. As for how fast it grows, this depends on type of bamboo planted but primarily your growing conditions (type of soil, warmth, etc). A nice layer of mulch helps preserve moisture in and can reduce your watering frequency, and eventually your wicker will become self mulching from the annual leaf drops.
I grow and propagate numerous types of bamboo and tropical plants. Check out my pics at http://www.gator-ventures.com/bamboo
