We inherited this vine when we moved into this house two years ago and although I love the flowers and the hummingbirds that come, it is the most invasive plant I own every seen. It have runners that are under the ground that are tacky and woody. My husband and I are attempting to kill it this spring/summer and I only just want someone out there to describe me that there is a indiscriminate...a hope that one day I will not hold my garden and grass swarming with little pop ups. I want my patio and garden back! Please, successes anyone?
Answers: most culture struggle to get them to grow!
That sounds close to really good guidance. Unfortunately I have be removing some of the hostas that were within the flower bed just surrounded by front to prepare for the dig to seize to those trumpet vine roots. Was this stupid? I never really thought about the seed. What do they look like? I will hold to burn the whole rear legs yard if I see even one root close at hand the house! I would do it, but we all know that it wouldn't die...what would be the point...ha ha ha. What do you construe?
